This year we are Honoring Exemplary Business Women in Golf
Monica McCormack-Casey

Monica McCormack-Casey resides in Essex County; however, she never abandoned her Hudson County roots. Monica grew up in Jersey City and is a graduate of William L Dickinson High School. Upon graduation, she began her career in banking at the Trust Company of New Jersey. While there she attended St. Peter’s College evenings and graduated with a Degree in Business Management and Marketing. During her tenure at the Trust Company of NJ, she held various positions, including Area Manager for Hudson County. She also spearheaded the startup of their Government Banking Division.

After 33 years with the Trust Company, Monica accepted a position with TD Bank where she retired after 15 years as a Senior Government Banking Officer in charge of Metro NY and Northern NJ markets. During Monica’s business career, she launched a Junior Achievement program with the Jersey City Board of Education, was active with the Nutley Parks and Recreation Program and was honored by Dickinson H.S. for community outreach. She is on the School Wall of Fame as an outstanding alum for community volunteer work.

Monica currently serves as the Hudson County Community College Foundation Chair. She also sits on the North Hudson Advisory Board for Hudson County Community College (HCCC) and is committed to helping students by creating awareness of all that HCCC offers. Monica is an advocate for education and believes that everyone, no matter their circumstances, should have the opportunity to pursue a higher education.

In her spare time, Monica enjoys playing golf with the Galloping Hills Ladies Golf League, socializing with friends and family, golfing and traveling with her husband Dan, and spending time with their daughters, Amber and Nikki as well as their granddaughter Victoria.
